Loki Had a Heifer Calf

Loki had a heifer calf last night. Her name is Lightning. She has a long Pinzgauer nose and red Pinzgauer feet. The black on her nose is from the Brown Swiss sire. Swiss calves usually darken as they get older, so it will be interesting to see what colors these strawberry calves have in a few months.
Loki will look less scruffy in a couple of weeks when she is done shedding her winter coat.
